What Aipiter accounting software does
Aipiter accounting software for Spain maintains the journal, record books and reconciliation from business documents and movements. It uses the Spanish small-business chart of accounts and the books appropriate to your tax regime. It is an additional module; combine it with Invoicing to issue your invoices in Aipiter too. Your accountant continues to review and file the relevant returns.
From the document to review
Each figure keeps its origin.
The transaction, entry and reconciliation remain parts of the same history.
Record what happens
Invoices, payments, expenses and supplier documents. When you issue in Aipiter with Invoicing, the source document is already linked.
Review before confirming
Reading a PDF helps prepare the data. A person checks the issuer, amounts, taxes and treatment before entering it.
Reconcile and prepare the period
Link movements to their documents and review what is outstanding. The books and supporting documents are prepared for your accountant.
From daily work to books you can review.
Documents, entries and bank movements stay connected. Questions remain visible until resolved.

Match what fits. Review what remains.
Relate each bank movement to the invoice, payment or expense that explains it. Unidentified movements stay outstanding for review; matching an amount alone does not establish the connection.
This distinguishes the recorded transaction from its movement through the bank.

Before keeping your books with Aipiter.
Does it replace my accountant?
Your accountant retains accounting judgement, review, closing and returns. Aipiter organises daily work and brings together books and evidence to support that work.
Are Invoicing and Accounting the same module?
They are separate modules. Accounting covers books and reconciliation; Invoicing lets you issue in Aipiter and follow payments; using VERI*FACTU requires checking the version’s producer declaration and actual submission to the AEAT. Each module’s functions are described separately. See the catalogue and terms.
Does reading the PDF enter the invoice automatically?
Reading helps prepare the data. A person reviews and confirms the contents and treatment before entry. The original document stays with the record for checking.
What happens to a bank movement that does not match?
It stays outstanding for review. Reconciliation relates movements and documents; a difference or unidentified movement needs its source and treatment checked.
Which accounting rules and tax scope does it cover?
The scope described is Spain, using the small-business chart of accounts and books appropriate to your regime. Royal Decree 1515/2007 governs that chart. We review with you and your accountant whether it is appropriate for your activity.
Does it work for the self-employed?
Books follow the applicable regime and obligations, including VAT and IRPF records where relevant. Setup is reviewed in the tax context of your activity.
What does my accountant receive and who files the returns?
The books and documents for the period, ready for review, adjustments and closing. Your accountant prepares and submits returns; daily record keeping and tax closing are separate tasks.
